Pen:Chant the 2nd

More on Jackie:

Jackie Hagan is a council-estate Rainbow Brite who knows that wisdom is written on the back of everyone’s hand (Buy milk, get leccy) and that the fight for sexual equality is not between men and women, (it’s between people and nobheads). She’s just had her leg cut off (for realz) and it’s motivated her to take over the world (for realz). She’s just been commissioned for a national tour of a longform narrative live lit show (that might have a flashing robot false leg).

More on Jason:

Jason Singh is a Beatboxer, Vocal Sculptor and Sound Artist whose work is rooted in inspiring people to engage in exciting creative experiences through the voice, technology, performance and participation.

A prolific solo artist, he also collaborates and performs with artists and organisations such as Nitin Sawhney, Rokia Traorè, Leafcutter John, Shabaka Hutchings, Soumik Datta, V&A Museum, Southbank Centre, PRSf, Serious, National Portrait Gallery, BFI, Sage Gateshead, Rajasthan International Folk Festival, Jaipur Literature Festival, Fermynwood Arts, Whitworth Gallery and the BBC. Jason is also part of the Open Souls trio.

Singh’s passion lies in multi-disciplinary and cross art form collaborations and his creations constantly find their way moving through music, live performance, sound art, dance, poetry, film, theatre, science, textiles, education and research. In 2012 Jason was the first sound artist in residence at the V&A Museum.

“Singh redefines the meaning of Beatboxing” Max Reinhardt BBC Radio 3.
